Wilcom Service pack1 for ES Studio is now available at
You will need to sign in to download, this is a large file so if your connection to the internet is a little slow it may be a good idea to perform this update of an evening or during another quiet time.
Don't forget to read the Readme.txt file before installing the Service Pack there is a lot of good advice on how to install this SP1.
Also included is a list of improvements that have been made to the software.
Everyone with ES Studio should install this service pack
Here is an important tip to preserve your current work area layout
When reinstalling your software or updating with a service pack the file that remembers your preferred screen layout is also overwritten.
To preserve your current layout and before you install the Service pack follow this procedure.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e1.5\BIN
- Find the ES.ini file
- Copy and save the ES.ini file to your desktop
- Install the Service Pack as per instructions in the Readme.txt file
- Wait until installation has been completed and computer has rebooted
- Copy the ES.ini file you just saved to your desktop and paste it to C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e1.5\BIN overwriting the existing new file.
